How to Build Chest Muscles
Every man dreams of being able to walk shirtless on the beach without feeling embarrassed. Those man bras are not going to help you feel any better about yourself anyway. If you are looking to build chest muscles that yousee on the body builders, here are a few exercises that you should do.
A Dose of Dipping
The first exercise that can help you to get those tight well defined pectoral muscles is the dip. This exercise requires you to use two objects of equal height, such as chairs or a bench. These objects will need to support your own weight so that you can hold yourself up and slowly lower yourself down. This exercise will help to build up your chest as well as your tricep muscles.

Keep Pushing
Another great exercise to build chest muscles is the pushup. You can do different types of pushups to help diversify your exercise routine. The standard military style pushup has you with your hands at shoulder width. Other styles of pushups include the incline pushup where you elevate your upper half to create different resistance. The decline pushup has your feet elevated again changing the focus of resistance. You can also try the wide and diamond pushups, which has you change your hand positioning while doing the push ups. If you need more of a challenge, then you can always do one arm pushups
Other Ideas
Other resistance training exercises will also help you to build chest muscles. These exercises, believe it or not, are easy enough to do at home without the use of any equipment, except maybe free weights. One exercise that is simple is interlocking your hands in front of your chest and pulling them in the opposite direction, as if you were pulling them apart. Another great exercise is one that replicates the butterfly which is normally done on a machine at the gym. You can use free weights instead and have a similar effect. To perform this exercise you would hold weights in each fist, holding them out in front of you. With elbows slightly bent, open your arms and then close them again.
These easy to perform exercises, when combined in a regular routine can help you to achieve those tight pecks you have been hoping for. So as part of your New Year’s resolution, start working to build chest muscles so that by summer you have the beach bod you have been dreaming about.
